I'm about to ceiling mount my lp340 in my family room and was wondering if anyone has any opinions about what cabling I should build in (i don't want to have to rip open the drywall in the future if I decide I need different cables). The system will be mostly used to watch DVDs and videos but maybe someday (if it becomes available) I'll want to use it for HDTV (I don't plan on changing this system for a while). So the question is: do I simply run s-video to the projector, or s-video and VGA, or s-video and 5 75 ohm coax cables so I can terminate with BNC if I want to have RGB input, or s-video with VGA and DVI so that I can use the DVI if it ever becomes a standard? I don't think I'll ever use a HTPC for this system unless someone comes up with a really compelling reason to bother with it (ie a vastly improved picture).

Oh, and one other thing...is there any good reason to run a serial cable up to it?

Any thoughts?

Thanks.
