just saw an ebay ad for these things, anyone know what their story is? i've heard both $299 and $2000msrp's for them, and they're being auctioned at 2 to 300.


i'm dead sure these are probably a ripoff and sound worse than sony; but it can't hurt to ask.

The only Cadence speaker I am seeing is the S-15 bookshelf, and it sure looks like junk to me...


And those MSRPs sound like some white-van style business.

I can assure you Cadence is no white van speaker company. They have been making quality products for a for quite a while although mostly car audio. I haven't heard much feedback about their home speakers but their subs CSX 12 and CSX 15 are very well respected at the price point.
