I have been searching for a home theater DLP projector using the calculator at Projector Central to determine offset and projector throw in an attempt to maintain a current set-up.
Set-up: 96" diagonal screen, 16' throw, ceiling mount, both center of lens and top of screen are 11" from ceiling, projector behind seating area.
I cannot find a projector that will conform to the above with aspect ratio of 16:9 but, 4:3 will work on some models.
Is there any downside in using the 4:3 aspect ratio for setup, then use 16:9 for viewing? Will the 16:9 over-shoot the screen or, be contained on the screen?
