Ok, i've searched and can't seem to find if this has been addressed yet, Is there any point in calibrating a 1 year old plasma that was just plugged in and turned on for normal daily use?

if it has never been used prior, i'd wait about 150 to 200 hours of on time before getting it calibrated.

Sorry for the confusion, it's been used for about 13 months. Games, Cable, Blu-ray and HD-DVD

I had my PDP5010 done a couple of weeks ago.It is a year old; Jeff 'UMR' did it for me and it was money well spent.

Yes, IMO, many displays benefit from calibration...
