Hi,

I am new to this calibration stuff, but am learning lots. Have taken the ISF course and after reading, and reading I was able to calibrate my Rear Projection Hitachi television. It looks so good, I can't believe that my television could look that good.

Now onto the projector. I am trying to calibrate my Sanyo Z3 using my Progressive Labs pod, but I am having trouble calibrating the Gain. Seems that when I make adjustments on the Gain for Red, Green, Blue, nothing really happens in the Progressive Labs program. However, when I change the Offset values to adjust the Red, Green, Blue, I am able to get everyting adjusted the way it is suppose to be.

My questions are:

1. How far is the pod suppose to be away from the Screen on the tripod? I have it about 3 inches using the Diffuser?

2. Am I suppose to use a different calibration file instead of the D65 file?

3. Has anyone encountered this type of problem?

I forgot to add that the input that I am calibrating is the HDMI input, not the component (at least not yet).

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
