The current A/V set up disk is Joe Kanes DVE (Digital Video Essentials) which you should be able to get for under $25. I know you can get one from Kane's website or from Widescreen Review's site but I am sure it is quite widely available.
Check out this thead if you have not already. I would lean towards only using THX Optimizer on AOTC unless you plan on getting into tweaking. I would get Avia, Jim Taylor's "DVD Demystfied" and DVE if you want to do a bunch of testing. A good light meter is also useful
