I had HBO package and only cared for HD movies. So I called a few nights back to drop HBO and aslo lost HBO HD. Gues they are gonna start an HD package soon... Fine with me.

Called DTV lost HD
I called DTV tonight to add Showtime HD. They would not add it they said that i had to pay for it. I told them i was getting HBOHD and HDNET they said that i was not supposed to get HBOHD and they took it away from me. I am on hold now waiting to talk with a supervisor.
i guess i should not have called in the first place
The supervisor said that i should not be getting HBOHD and thet were going to remove it. I told her that they needed to get their story stright because that is not what a CSR told me. I bet if i call back i could get the channels back.

Guys...doesn't it make more sense that you will only get HBO HD if you subscribe to HBO? and only get Showtime HD if you subscribe to Showtime? than an all- HD package?
HBO's goal in providing an HD channel is more likely to get higher take rates of HBO subscription service than an HD package with Showtime and HD-Net.
If anything, you'd have to pay a premium on top of your HBO or Showtime subscription fees for the HD channel, I doubt they'll offer an HBO/Showtime HD only package.
