Calling anyone who has had this happen. I went to tweak the convergence on the 1208/2 today, and the remote no longer works. To be more specific, neither the real Barco, nor the universal remote work anymore.
In the case of the real official remote, I can hit the recessed button on the remote and get "projector address 0" to display. I tried both IR and wired mode. It wont do anything else except make the PJ display the address.
Obviously its not the remote control, I have two, and both used to work.
The PJ does react, but only to the recessed button, nothing else. I think its in the PJ. Has the micro lost its mind?
I'm reinstalling the Barco PC control software (new PC), to see if that works or not, but without the wired remote I can't do fine convergence at the screen. This function has to be restored.
Curt, I got all this stuff form you, I recall the very first time I tried the Barco remote it did the same thing, but after one press on the recessed button it worked ever since, until now. I opened the remote to see if there was a way to set its address, there is only an ASIC inside. So much for making the remote address equal to the PJ.
Please help!
Regards,
Scott
