Camera via Modulator with Digital Cable

Over the years I have installed many Entry and Pool Cameras and injected them into the system via Modulators. This was great with conventional cable and DSS Systems. My question is with the new digital Cable Boxes. I am not sure how, lets say I inject a camera over channel 74 via a modulator with a combiner / Splitter to the TV jacks in a house. If they have a Digital Cable Converter will my injected channel make it thorugh this box and be received on that channel and not cause problems with them watching the digital cable channels over channel 3 as normal?
