I always assumed if an AVR listed 1080p HDMI video capability then that meant 1080p24 video switching would be fine.
Examples, being Denon 2807, Sony 3200/5200 AVRs.
However, after reading a Pioneer CES press release I now not so sure. They state the need for AVRs needing explicity 1080p24 support.
Does 1080p handling mean 1080p50/60 only for current AVRs?
Does anyone own a Denon 2807 or Sony 3200/5200 and have they actually pumped 1080p24 into such an AVR? Does it work? Gee, I really hope so.
Sigh, A/V life is too confusing these days, especially in the HDMI world.
Dennis.
