I have a bunch of old VHS tapes that needs to be color corrected due to them being old beta and VHS.. using the Link given for the little Video Filter and that removes CGSM .. I need to correct some of the colors for the old tapes. I can say do this:

1. Put the output of the RCA cable to the little Video Filter

2. From the Max video filter put it to the RCA input of Sima Color Corrector and then output S-Video into the Panasonic HS-2 ? Can you switch from RCA to S or will this contraption even work. As some of the older tapes and just would like to back up before mildew sets in.

Suggestions ?

BTW what is a Video Stbilizer... do I need one or does the HS 2 already have one built in and having another is redundant

HS2 has analog S-Video and composite input with 3D Y/C comb filter, it may be sufficient for your recordings if not you can chain any think in analog input but I don't think you can go from composite to S on that sima corrector.
