just curious to know what the community thinks of this design....

im considering it for its small ish footprint and high waf(due to the fairly small size.)...... plus i love the idea of a horn, since ive already had ported and sealed, might as well take the next step right?

Generally bass horn and small footprint don't belong in the same system. I couldn't see the details of the design at the link you posted but from the description I would say it sacrifices low end extension for upper bass SPL and therefore may not be what you are looking for.

Given that it describes the frequency response as 44 - 140 Hz, it might be okay for a music application, but even then, the extension isn't terribly low even for music.

Here's a diagram. It's set up as a scoop. I think I'd rather have an anarchy horn, personally.

the anarchy horn looks decent but I'd rather use something that utilizes a 12" driver. I plan on the infinity 1260w, I would love to use a horn otherwise I'll just build a ported enclosure and tune it low.
