Can i play DTS cd's on my laptop using it's own speakers ?
Is there a software solution for playing DTS cd's on my DELL Inspiron 8100 or if not can i rip the cd to the harddrive and play it in windows media player - OS is WinXp Pro.
Any help much appreciated.

Um, how many speakers does your laptop have? You planning on downmixing the 5.1 channels to stereo??

I will be just using the stereo speakers on the laptop.
I know it seems stupid but i don't want to buy another normal CD version of the DTS cd just because i want to play it while i'm away on business.

i play DTS Music CD with PowerDvd (recent ver) ...
.. but, it's too bad you're gonna mix down to 2 channels only ...
