A house that I bought a couple weeks ago either never had cable installed in it, or the cable was cut at some point. The cable comes in at the east end of the house, and it needs to go to the west end of the house where 2 TV's will be. The path of least resistance is to run the cable outside and around the house. I see that there is waterproof coax cable, but is this the application what it's meant for? I'd be burying it along the house and then bringing it in through a brick wall. Are there any other options out there?

All of my coax is run on the outside of my house. The cable company installed it that way. From the box on the side of the house it runs under my eaves to every room, then they just drilled a small hole and ran it inside. I don't have any issues whatsoever.
