My wife is giving me grief about my current set up. I have a DVD

jukebox set up in my basement where my home theater is. She wants

to be able to watch movies in other parts of the house so she can

do stuff while watching a movie( I'll never understand that). Anyway,

I was hoping that I could use the RCA signals out of the dvd player, convert

the signal to run over cat5, distribute it to the other TVs in the house,

and than convert it back to RCA. IS this possible? Any input would

be greatly welcomed.

Yes you can.


You can modulate the DVD Player on the Coax cable in your house by using some products from Channelvision or ChannelPlus. There are many threads on this forum to learn how.


You can also send the video to another set on Cat5 with a set of the baluns from these guys:
