I've been trying to confirm whether or not windows media center 2005 will allow me to play .vob files that were ripped to a pc's hd and still provide full naviagation support. I've searched on thegreenbutton but could not be sure if this is possible. I am currently able to watch the .vob files via roxio's dvdmax player and also via wmp 10. I would like to use mce2005 to watch these movies via a dvi connector to my tv. Will mce2005 make it easier to connect and play on my tv or would I be better off trying to tweak powerstrip and just use my current setup. I just received a copy of mce2005 and will be gettin another silent pc to use near my tv.
