I live in foothills of Pasadena. The only OTA channel I can pull in is CBS I'm using a dtc-100 and a CM 4248 antenna tiled up at about 20 degrees this is where I get the best signal about 60-65. I do not have a clear view because I'm right next to the mountain. Is there any other repeater or stations in the LA area that you can pick up? If so where are they and what channel are they on?

Thanks,

Try turning your antenna to about 140 degrees to pick-up San Deigo. I can get these channels from Burbank:

KSWB 19..WB

XETV 23..FOX

KGTV 25..ABC

KNSD 40..NBC

KFMB 55..CBS

Weather plays a big part in getting these distant channels. Some days I can get 95% signal strength, others times I have trouble locking in. For best results you will need a high quality low noise amp like the CM-7775. 20 degrees tilt may be too much for SD. I found about 5 degrees is best for SD, but mine is set to 10 degrees for ch60 and still works fine for SD.

Glenn,

Thanks allot I will give it a try and let you know what I find out. Also I was wondering what are you using to measure

the different antenna's that you are trying?

Brent
