It depends on what country you're in. The North American version of the VT25 definitely does not have this ability. But i think the European and Asian versions can do this. The North American version is very very different than the ones on other continents.
No I do not. Currently my method is to use the laptop and use the tv as a 2nd monitor. This is cumbersome and time consuming. I want a simpler method for my next entertainment setup (hopefully the Panny Vt-25 or 30). With the T.V. being crossed-out, most likely the blueray being crossed out I'm running out of options of what to use.
I know I can find dvd players that play video files (mkv, avi) through usb but I don't like the idea of buying a player for the sole purpose of using it's usb port.
