Can the RDC-7 ( original and v2 ) accept a 24/94 digital input from an upsampler device ( or even 24/96 DAD's via DVD player ) ?

And while I have your attention, with the latest v2 crossover additions, can each speaker have a separate crossover point or is the Hz setting global ?

I only have one disk (widescreen review's DTS sampler) with 24/96 and my RDC-7 (v2) plays it in both digital and analog modes, it also displays DTS 24/96 in its display screen.

The crossover settings are global.

It is a great sounding unit (it smokes my old B&K), but I think I'm going to sell mine and get a Lexicon MC-8 for the additional bass management featues.

Well gee, that global bass management sucks !

I need my centre crossed at 100 Hz for proper protection ( damaged it before ) , but I like my surrounds at 60 Hz or lower.

THE center channel speaker is the most important speaker in any 5.1 array, and if your center cant go belo 100, than suggest you might want to consider its replacement. There are many high quality (and comensurate with your rdc 7, pre/pro) centers around, and i am sure you can find one(hopefully from same manufactuer, of the rest of your 5.1 system) that will allow you more bass extension out of your center.

I use an Infinity Prelude MTS centre, which is really crystal clear, and rated to 80 Hz with 500 watt power handling. So much for specs -> as I have blown its woofers twice via Lexcion MC-1 and EAD PM2000 amp !

My backup centre channel is an NHT AC-2 which is really great too, and can play quite deep. I will probably stick with the AC-2 and leave the Infinity as backup.

FYI: My favourite "budget" centre speaker is the PSB Image 9C -> that baby can play reeeally low.
