Hello my name is Rodney and I am trying to buy a new set of speaker for my computer (this set will also include a sound card in the computer.) I think what I am going to do is get a set of Klipsch KB-15 icon-5 Bookshelf speakers, and a Polk PSW111 8-inch subwoofer. The subwoofer has two sets of spring clips on the amp to hook up speakers. I was going to run the Klipsch speakers through the spring clips on the subwoofer. For the subwoofer output I was going to use and RCA cable and run it to the sound card in the computer (The sound card is the Asus Xonar Essence for anyone who is wondering.) I was just wondering if this setup would be a good idea, and would actually work. BIG thanks to any one who posts and helps me out, really appreciate the help :).

It won't work, those clips on the sub aren't powered, they aren't for driving speakers, they're for extracting the bass from speaker outputs of an amp (when you don't have a dedicated sub RCA out).
