I am looking to compare:

-energy take twr

-Def Tech Mythos 1 or 4

-Mirage OS3-FS...

Price is pretty different for all of these. I like the look of these three and they seem to have a relatively small base that fits my needs.

Thanks

well, most BB with a Magnolia theater section carry Mirage, so hopefully you can get a good listen there. do you have a location near by/have you done so? your impression if you have?

i also want to say the Magnolia near me has Definitives as well. if im not mistaken, that would be your best bet; doing a side by side comparison

energy has a HUGE owners thread here. i know theyre opinion will be a bit bias, but hey, its better than no opinion. ask them to list the things they DONT like about it. youll get positive feedback on all of your choices if you wait long enough (be patient
), but if you figure out the faults and see if you can compensate/adjust accordingly, you can possibly go from there

sorry, but i have no experience with any of those

You should recommend him your ELT525T's as well, alphaiii! Those measure in at about 6 1/2" width, and IMO sound great and have low sibilance.

Agreed, AV123 ELT525T is certainly another option (slim, but deeper cabinet than the others mention) and a very nice sounding speaker...but I didn't want to pimp my own sale...

I'll put my vote in for the Mirage. Though I've only heard the Omnisat V2 FS in BB's Magnolia store, I generally like how well the omni thing does with small drivers. The V2's received some positive reviews but they need a sub. The Mythos one looks pretty good too... It shouldn't be difficult finding a place to compare those two, and there are other good recommendations in this thread also.
