I have an HTPC with a Blu-Ray drive, but it did not come bundled with any software. I tried to find a Cyberlink bundle, it it was always about $100 more than the bare drive... it was also always an old version of the software, too.


Can anyone recommend Windows Blu-Ray player software that will treat me right and not cost too much?

No. 

Your best bet is probably trying to find an old version of TMT5 (TotalMedia Theatre). There are still problems with the latest version 6, but it does work (I have both, I'm still using 5).

There's a demo version so you can make sure it works with your system. It lists for about $100, but it's regularly on sale.
