Can the ATI A-I-W 9800 handle component input for capture?

Is there a way for the ATI All-In-Wonder 9800 to capture video with component input? I've checked the ATI website for their different adapters and cables, but a lot of them don't have descriptions for their uses. What good capture cards are there that can do component input capture?

There is a capture card thread that discusses whether this will work on the AIW 9700/9600.

The gist of it is that a component header is described in the documentation but as far as anyone has been able to determine it is not selectable in any of the ATI S/W.

er, the answer is no-- uncompressed HD is just too much data for a consumer machine to handle. There has to be some on-the-fly compression. which is beyond most machines as well at that data rate.
