I recently purchased and installed X-card only to find that most of my video files are encoded with Xvid.

Can the X-card be re-configured to play Xvid encodes files?

If not, is there another card like it that will play Xvid?

FYI, I have an integraded video card that can't be disabled. So, a new video card with S-Video and/or Component out won't work for me.

I simply am looking for a way to view Xvid encoded files on my Toshiba 42h81 via component cables.

TIA for any help

Which drivers are you using? I think the newest (2.1) drivers will play Xvid. I can't be sure, though, as I have never tried it.
