You did not indicate what type pj, but a good used red should be pretty easy to find for most makes.

Don: It's a Marquee 8500 Ultra, 15,000 hours, on it's 2nd set of tubes. (Obvious why they had to be replaced, huh?) --- Thanks for the info, I suspected as much.


Clarence: hehe... my employer, who can't seem to figure out how to use a screen saver --- and if you take that logo you posted, and invert it (blue bg with white text) that's the wallpaper that was on it 100% of the time.

CMRA, that's why this is mine now...


This projector was installed (new) in 2000. At about 7,000 hours they had very similar screenburn and had it retubed. It now has 15,000 hours on it. They decided that they'd rather buy a good digital than retube it again, and they were going to throw it away. I took care of it for them.
