Can't get Optical audio from BTV

I have been unable to get optical audio out of my HTPC with BeyondTV. PowerDVD and system sounds are making it out via the optical cable just fine but nothing from BTV. I found in playback setup one place to change the decoder, neither seemed to change anything and then in config. I can select 2 speaker, 5.1 and SPDIF but I get nothing no matter what the settings.


Anyone have this trouble or know where I might go to fix? How does BTV get audio to the system, line in or what?
