I recently picked up a copy of Queen's "A Night at the Opera" on DVD-A to play on my Denon DVD-2900. When I put the disc in the player, it is only recognized as a standard DVD - the "DVD Audio" light on the front of the player doesn't light up. Also, I can't select the MLP 96/24 Lossless audio option from within the disc's on-screen menu.
I have the DVD-2900 hooked up to my receiver (Denon AVR-3805) with both digital (for DVD movies) and analog (for SACD and DVD-A) audio. SACDs work just fine when played through the analog connection.
What am I missing here? Thanks in advance.
