Doc-file can not be posted directly. Attachement engine in avsforum has limited set of acceptable file extentions: "Valid file extensions: gif jpg png txt zip bmp pdf". You can rename the doc file by simply adding ".txt" to it's name and then attach it as usual.


People will not be able to open such renamed file directly into MSWord with single mouse click, but it will be still perfectly downloadable (I did test this earlier for not having any destructive conversions) with alternative commands, something like "right mouse button click - Save This Link As ".


Please keep in mind that MSWord files might pick up some infection from infested software on the computer of unaware user, and thus be potentially harmful... I, for one, will most certanly pass on the downloading of unknown doc-file. Microsoft Word, exported into RTF would keep the nice looking formatting and be much safer. And, to be on the safest side, you can export it in plain ol' good ASCII...
