Hi everyone:
I have an old kdl-32bx300. I love the picture, and it works well, but I'd like to update to the latest firmware.
I followed the procedures very precisely to update the firmware via USB port. That's easy for me, as I used to be an IT tech. The TV just won't seem to update the firmware. Whenever I try, I don't get the red/amber lights, the TV just turns on and starts displaying a show, as usual.
I spoke with Sony support, but they really had no idea how to help me. There's no Ethernet jack on this model, so if I can't figure it out, I guess I'm out of luck.
