Just made my installation appointment today. My installation is scheduled for 12/11/02.
I called a week ago to get on the waiting list and was expecting a call back that never came. So I call comcast again (1-888-comcast) and they took my order and scheduled an appointment.
So if you have been waiting for comcast to call you back, I would suggest that you give them another call now to get a early apoointment for installation.
The CSR also told me that the 5100 box will not have the firmware upgrades but will be udgraded very soon.
