Whenever a video card is recommended here, it's most likely to be a Radeon. I guess most of you have high-quality equipment with VGA inputs so you don't need the S-video output but I'm interested in the video output quality for my normal TV screen.

What would be the best in terms of quality here?

Matrox? Don't know if they support overscan in the clone modes and DVDMax is not exactly what I want.

Radeon VE? Looks good, is cheap but ATI has traditionally had problems with overscan, or so I read.

nVidia with Brooktree video-encoder? I have this in my main PC (Hercules GF2MX) and it's got nice overscan, full PAL/NTSC resolutions and quite a good quality.

So, any recommendations?

TIA! :)
