Anyone used these?

If they deliver on what they promise, they could be a very interesting choice for a multisub system, or even perhaps LCR mains.

DCM1000L : 200W/325W/500W 8Ω/4Ω/2Ω x4 or 650W/1000W 8Ω/4Ω x2, "94% efficient", 1Vrms sensitivity, autoswitching 120/240V, $371 direct shipped.

DCM2004L : 300Wx4/8Ω, 500Wx4/4Ω, not bridgeable, everything else seems like the model above, $521 shipped.

Not bad. I'm on the lookout for decent, affordable amps. Especially the 4ch variety. Save some rack space right there.
Could be an alternative amp choice for my large, multi-way active setup I'm brewin' up.

You thinking about picking one up, DS-21? If you do, post up what you think about em.

Just a note, I noticed that you listed the 1000L as 4ch amp. I looked at it on their site and it is not 4ch, it is just 2ch but the 2004L is 4ch.

They need to fix their website before I'd consider using their products.

Maybe I missed it. What is wrong with their website? Just a few clicks and I am drilled down to product and technical specs.

Almost, yeah.

I need a bigger room.

Well, the bass bins will be almost the same, your horn is much smaller and they use bigger midrange and HF horns than the one I had!!
Your subs will be better.

I was interested until I saw the 1000L is $A711, presumably + shipping. Still smashed by the EPs unless for some reason the weight thing is an issue.

+ 1

Power:
claimed 500w X 4/4 ohms @$499
measured EP4K 2kw @$350

I guess there is a level of flexibility, however they output specs seem modest IMO, interesting nonetheless

Yeah the horns are bigger but the 2445 that you had and that I will use is a better midrange, imo. The 4" CD on those 5000 series is capable of going down to ~300hz but is limited to 2khz tops. Ours is good to 7khz or higher, even.

Thanks. I like my subs too.

Doh! You're right. Don't know how that slipped by me.

That pretty much ends my interest in them, honestly. If the 2004L could be run as a three-channel, I'd pick one up though.
