Just curious if anyone has ever run from a Russound CAV or other distributed audio system that is 8 ohm toa 1 in 4 out impedance matcher? From the impednace matcher i go to volume controls then speakers. all speakers are 8 ohms. I know the CAV is stable at 4 ohms

Thanks

It sounds like you want to run more than one pair of speakers off of just one of the zones on the controller. Correct? If so, You should be able to do what you want by connecting the speakers to the impedance matching speaker selector and then the input of the selector would be connected to the CAA66 speaker terminals for one zone.

Yes that is exactly what i am trying to do. I want the dining room and porch to share the kitchen zone with volume controls as i dont want them on all the time but would like the option.

Thanks for the response
