CBS has been chipping away on some baseball and auto racing broadcast time for next year.


The baseball is some Yankee games which was discussed here a couple weeks ago.

OK, how can we find out if CBS has plans for high def? Also, how can we gently suggest to not abort the end of a broadcast because of programming constraints the way ABC/ESPN would?


I think Letterman is still an owner with Rahal... Maybe we can get him revved up!

The baseball is not CBS. It's WCBS, the New York CBS affiliate which will pick up some local Yankee broadcasts from the YES network. A similar example would be that WPIX shows some Mets games--but it has nothing to do with the WB network.
