Ceiling mount AX-100

915 Views 4 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  allene222
I have a universal ceiling mount. All I need to know is how to attach a plate to the projector. I see 4 4mm captive nuts in the bottom. I have always used these to attach my past projectors but it looks like the $450 one they sell has some kind of wrap around bracket that makes me worry that the projector needs more support than the 4 screws would give it. How do people mount these things? No way I am spending $450 for their bracket.

My projector weighs 8 pounds and is using (4) 4mm screws to hold it is all. I think you will be fine.

I've got a universal spider type mount with 4 'spider' legs. It's a peerless mount.

Works great.
