I posted this in the pj forum but maybe this is a better palce for it.

*********************************************************

I'm almost all set to ceiling mount my pj, but something puzzles me. The bottom of the pj (manual link below) only has two screw holes near the front. There is a rubber gromit near the rear. Should I pry that off and see if there is a screw hole there? There are two additional screw holes on the rear of the machine, which seems a little odd to me. What would they be for?

The manual shows ceiling mounting on page 21 so I know it should be designed for it. Does my mount need to have a flap on the back for the two rear screw holes?

Any help would be appreciated, I really want to get this thing mounted this weekend!

I have no idea, but here's a little homework for ya. PS, I love Sony manuals bc they contain blueprints for the mounting points...

This link came from the Chief Manufacturing web page and shows bolts, locations and sizes. Looks like your going to have to rig something up to access those rear screw holes. Check out the following link and notice the flange that hits those two holes.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the input.

I did end up having to build an back portion on my mount to attach to those screws. It's up and looking good now though!
