All,
I am just getting ready to mount my projector in my basement, and was hoping to get some advice first. My screen is located in an area of the room that has a dropped bulkhead, whereas the projector is not and could be mounted at full ceiling height.
The projector is a Mitsubishi HC7000, and I have included a sketch of the installation for reference. I am hoping to mount the projector directly to the ceiling, but am guessing that I may have to use ~1 foot extension pole to accomodate the bulkhead that the screen is located under. The projector does have significant vertical lens shift, but I'm not sure if that will accomodate the physical obstruction in the light path.
Thanks in advance for any help.
