I have a pair of old Energy Pro Series .5's I'd like to use for my surrounds. I'd also like to mount them from the ceiling. There is no threaded 'nut' in the back like some have for mounting. I'm looking at these from Monoprice. They're rated for 10 lbs and designed for wall mounting. The .5's weigh 7 lbs. Has anybody here used these mounts? If so, how sturdy are they?
I'm thinking that there would be less stress on the mounts using them on the ceiling due to the angle I'll need. These look significantly stronger, but they're not in stock with no ETA.
