I would like to ceiling mount an XG110LC using unistrut. I know of one member that used unistrut and simply screwed threaded rod into the threaded holes where the projector feet attach and then bolted the other end of the rod to the unistrut. This is simple enough but I have a question.

My question is for those that have used an NEC mount: What is the attachment point for the NEC mount? Does it use the threaded holes that the feet occupy, or is secured elsewhere on the bottom of the projector? Where?

The attachment point for the XG is not the feet holes. There are two holes on the bottom of each side of the PJ that are about 1/3 of the way back from the front that the mount screws into/ I would use those to carry the weight of the PJ as they are close to the center of mass.

But Casey in Chicago did use the feet holes and it han't fallen yet.....
