Ceiling Reflections-Absorption

For those with Drop Ceilings, or for those who are in the know, is it overkill to use 1" 3pcf Rigid Fiberglass wrapped in fabric inserted in the drop ceiling at the First Order Reflection Points, or would plain Acoustic from Lowes be ok with a carpeted floor?

The only absorption I have now is 4" 3pcf Bass traps in the front and (4) 2" 3pcf Rigid Fiberglass Panels on each side wall at the reflection points. I can still hear quite a bit of echoe from the ceiling when I clap my hands or talk. It's really bad in the back of the room where I have no treatments (as my first order reflections didn't call for any in that area). I would like to do some absorption on the ceiling, but not sure the best method. My drop ceiling consists of Drywall Tiles that I decided to use to help contain more sound in my room than traditional acoustic tiles. Is it best to:

A) place some traditional acoustic tiles from Lows/HD at the reflection spots,

B) cut 1" Rigid Fiberglass into 2x2 squares and place them in the drop ceiling at the reflection points,

C) Keep my drywall tiles in place, and at the reflection points, suspend the Rigid Fiberglass so that it hangs down an inch or so below the drop ceiling?

Perfect. Thanks!!!

I think it will look better by cutting them into 2x2s and sitting them in the drop ceiling at the reflection spots. I'll give that a try.
Ethen,

Where can one find acoustic foam? It took me quite a while to find someone in my area with Rigid Fiberglass. Would that be a place to start, or can I purchase Acoustic Foam online? What does it look like....have any links to pictures? How difficult is it to wrap fabric around it and spray glue to the back? Will placing acoustic foam under my drywall tiles compress the acoustic foam to where it will lose it's absorption characteristics?
Thanks again. I'll go with the latter since I have Rigid Fiberglass available to me.
