Whew, the process chinadog referenced looks pretty labor intensive, let alone the cost and having space for the lighting source. I've got a couple of rooms that were done using some kind of glow in the dark paint. I had a couple of guys (Commander Zork and Sub Commandante Ronco...honest truth tell) come it with one of the projectors like is used in a planetarium. I chose the time of year (one room winter, one spring, one summer) for my location which they projected on the wall and then applied small drops of the paint at the corresponding points. This was on white walls and white ceilings. In the daylight, or with the lights on, you can't see anything. In the dark it's like being outside. It's pretty cool. If the room(s) has been exposed to daylight or incandescent light for a while, the effect lasts about an hour before it fades away. If I juice it with a black light, the effect lasts a couple of hours. I didn't think to have in done in my HT room, just the bedrooms. It's like going to sleep under the stars (with no bugs) and by the time the effect dissipates I'm asleep.
