Hey Guys, I just hooked up a new center channel that i got for christmas to my onkyo sr805. I am watching sunday night football and in certain stretches I can't hear the commentators speaking. Most of the game it's fine, then it's jsut quiet all of a sudden and I just hear game sounds. I just have a the center and the front left and right.

Did you have a different center channel speaker? Is this your first? Are you trying to use some surround sound decoder like Dolby Pro Logic II or are you using straight Dolby Digital.

I have never had a center before, I just ran the onkyo audyssey last night. I wasn't aware of turning on any surround sound.
