I've always been very, very intrigued by this company. My biggest problem with them is that every forum I search online comes up with the same guy advocating them. I don't think he's affiliated with the company, but he lives close to the company's headquarters so he's gone to listen to their speakers on several occasions. He thinks they're great, but it's hard to find many threads on any forum about them that he hasn't taken the lead in the discussion -- therefore I've always been a little skeptical.

No, I'm definitely NOT associated with HTD. I do think they are great speakers--at their price point. There have also been a few others (like Willd and Ovalnut) who have discussed the merits of these speakers.
No need to be skeptical, as I own way more of another company's products than I do HTD's products You can also order and listen for yourself, since I can't guarantee that you'll agree with my opinions (not facts, btw) or not. They'll pay for shipping the speakers back if you don't like them.
