From CNET review: "The only problem here is the speakers have rear-mounted ports, so wall mounting will slightly reduce the actual speaker bass output. The Energy Web site recommends leaving at least 2 feet of clearance between the speaker and wall."

The Take 5 satellite only goes down to about 110hz anyway, there really is no bass to speak of...I wouldn't worry about blocking the port.


I have take sats so this isn't just opinion.

If you're using the Take 5s, you should be using a sub, anyways, so it shouldn't be a big deal.

The Take 5 center is front ported, isn't, so where's the problem?
