Hi Guys -

I am having some difficulities in figuring out how to put my Dali Ikon Vokal Two above my HDtv. I used to have just a home built stand for my LCD display (which was just basically a cheap flimsy carbboard attached to some wood posts - im cheap I know), but now am deciding on purchasing a new panny VT25 58" plasma. As a result im worried about restricting airflow and causing hot spots as I know plasma run hotter than LCD's and my LCD was super hot with heat build up.

Is there any ideas on how I can do this or maybe a wall hung center channel speaker stand.

Thanks

I just ordered a Peerless multi use wall mount for my basement ht. I'll let you know how it works out. Im putting an Infinity Primus PC350 on it. I would post a link but I need 3 posts before I can put up a URL.

I went the under-plasma route for my center, but I had similar difficulties since I use a Pinnacle p.55 that's 32"x8"x9" (width x height x depth) and nobody makes a center stand that big.

I ended up building my own. I used two boards to cut a base and shelf, matched them to the speaker itself, then went to Lowes and HD to find a good stair railing/banner that was oval, and cut that into two vertical beams to go between the stand shelf and the floor base board.

I then routed the inside of the oval "legs" on one side, as a cable path, and routed a nice trim edge around the base and shelf to make it look prettier.

After hand sanding it all down, and staining it, I have a very nice stand that's matched to the speaker.

That was about the only option I had. I nad to do similar work to build an AV rack when I couldn't find one large enough pre-made that held my flagship Onkyo AVR (those things are massive) without spending $500+ which I refused to do.

Anyway, if you have the means, you can build something yourself.
