I spoke to my local distributor tday. They will take an advance order of a CS-1 at $1,995. They should arrive next week. I also searched their website for more information. Basically, does the CenterStage output at 480P or 1080I or ???. (1080i would fill the screen I think) I plan to use it on a 73" MIts. Does it control any aspect ratio? Is it appropriate to use this product with a Mitsubishi?

I don't know where you live, but you might want to check the powerbuy for these puppies.... you might get it for less :)

Check the long thread dedicated to the CS1 and CS2.

The thread will also answer your question for the output resolution.

Only if the source is also 16:9 (1.78:1). If the ratio is any higher (1.85:1, 2.35:1, etc.) you will still get some letterbox bars on top and bottom. You may not see the bars with a 1.85:1 ratio movie since it's so close to 1.78:1, but it depends on how much overscan your set has.
