I have read the previous posts but just to confirm.

I have 2 choices centre speaker 10cm from the ceiling angled down with left and right speakers approximately half way up either side of the screen.

Or

Centre speaker directly beneath the screen angled slightly upwards, in either scenario the tweeter of the centre speaker will be an equal in height difference from the left/right speakers.

If what i have read is correct i should position the speaker above, i don't have the opportunity of trying it first as i am going to have custom furniture built and allowing for both options would be very difficult/costly.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Position your left and right speakers, then, get a step ladder and place your center on the step ladder at the height proposed. Then, place it on a stand at the lower height you propose. The cabinet will change the sound; but, this is a better trial than no trial.
