Cerwin Vega HT-12PWR No Sound

I recently purchased a HT-12PWR for 5 dollars. I knew that it wasn't functional. It does power on and there is a light, but there is no sound coming through. I just plugged in a RCA cable into the input with my iPhone and there was no sound. There is a little audible buzz when I power the sub on. The fuse looks good.

It probably needs a new amp. You might try using the battery test to initially check the driver. The DIY section would be good place to visit too.

Hope this helps.
Sometimes, when a driver freezes up, it destroys the amp. If you connect a 9 volt battery to the plus and minus terminals of the driver and the driver moves, then the driver is ok. You have tested the amp and know that it does not work. Parts Express sells plate amps.
