I just made a call to pledge what i could to my local PBS station, KVIE Sacramento. I asked the phone rep to earmark my pledge for HDTV development if possible, and if not, to at least pass on the request to the management that KVIE viewers would love to see the wonderful PBS programming in HDTV as soon as possible.


The number here in the Sacramento area is 800-270-6601. I challenge all you PBS HD-starved viewers to make the call. Let's put our money where our mouths are!

I have done so in the past but I would put my money on Dishnetwork to carry PBS-HD before KVIE.

And especially for the NYC area, where PBS has had such terrible losses.
