For the life of me I can't figure this out... I hope someone can help.


I recently received a message on my ReplayTV unit about a change in phone numbers for my area. I went through the setup process to choose the new phone number. Unfortunately it asked me questions about my cable box.


Now my cable box operates improperly! I have a Jerrold unit that requires a '0' before single digit channels. I solved this before by inputting IR code '6003' instead of the default '0003'. Now with the new input scheme I can't seem to enter the '6003' code anywhere. I've tried to press on 'other' cable box and everything but only get a scrolling list of codes to choose from.


Needless to say I can't record anything below channel 10. I hope this is just user error -- anyone have any hints?

I don't have an answer but I had a similar problem when I changed my phone number last week. I ended up re-entering my cable system and then for days I wouldn't receive and channel data. I ended up having to use the 777 menu to restore the factory defaults.


I don't understand why this has to happen just to change the phone number.
